O's at IOP

This year, we finally got ourselves organized and took a vacation with the Ostrouts (my college/grad school roommate and best friend's family). We packed up the boys and headed to Isle of Palms in Charleston, SC. The mommies hit the spa one morning for pedicures and the daddies took to the golf course the next day!

Here are Aaron and James, yes in matching outfits...we couldn't resist! We took advantage of the late morning haze for this photo op. Their shirts say "beach bums:"

Since the morning was so gloomy, we decided to head into Charleston. Kelly and I took the baby boys shopping while the daddies went and checked out the battleship and Hunley museums. Of course the day turned out to be beautiful afterall, but we had a great time in town!

Here are Aaron and Daddy at the beach. What a difference a year makes...Aaron was SO much fun. He had no fear of the sand or water and played joyfully in the tidepools and waves!

On our last night, we headed down for a walk on the beach. The sky was gorgeous!

We learned a lot during our trip so hopefully next time (yay!) we'll have an even better time! We have not been in one place for long since this trip! Check back soon for updates from the rest of our July happenings!
