So the week after vacation, not only did we go to the county fair, and the children's museum with Grammie and Grampie Terry...we also went to the zoo with Grandpa, Grandma and Aunt Jennifer! I have to say, while it's a decent zoo, the zoo back home in Toledo (seriously) is still the best!
Who's in the exhibit? Aaron or the rhino?...and yes, his father is dangling him over a shark tank.
Filling Daddy's work boots:
Aaron loves to dance and thanks to the ipod era, can recognize headphones big and small!
Aaron's list of words he currently uses, easily and predictably:
Aaron loves to dance and thanks to the ipod era, can recognize headphones big and small!
-"woof"
-"All done"
Yep, that's it. Somewhere along the way, attempts at "mama" and "dada" and "dog" have fallen by the wayside. I'm almost positive, however, that last night he kept asking for more "nana" (banana), so we're on our way to increasing that list! Fortunately he is a very effective communicator using "ehh" with a variation of hand movements along with the signs for "more," "please," "eat," and "thank you." Hearing him say "all done" makes me smile every time...and so I share it with you (along with his buckling skills--a ritual after eating):

OH MY GOSH!! That is probably the cutest "all done" I've ever heard! What a big boy! Love the shark petting too. I'd like to try that!
Omygoodness! Is that the same goose egg still healing?? See, my boys have new injuries each day... I'm REALLY not judging! (I love that pic!)
