Orahoods on Vacation!

Well, it's that time of year again! Time for the yearly trip sponsored by Josh's company. This year, we returned to the same resort in Naples, Florida where these trips began, but this time with 2 kids in tow! Aaron absolutely loved the pool because it was zero entry (like a beach) and heated to 86 degrees! The weather was hit or miss and was quite chilly the last couple of days we were there, but we still managed to have a good time...thanks to Aaron and our return to vacations from a kid's perspective!

Aaron quickly figured out how the pool situation worked...through experience and sign reading!

Aaron and Daddy went down the twisty slide several times each day. Aaron will be shocked someday to realize that you're supposed to get wet on one!

More fun with Daddy...
Emmie had her first experience with sun, I mean, shade-bathing!

Even Mommy got to have some fun...and yes, braved a bikini at 7 weeks postpartum!

Aaron absolutely loved all the kids at the pool. He was inspired by several to attempt bubble blowing...which quickly turned into drinking the pool water. Oh well, at least fear is not a factor!

There is a great outlet mall in Fort Myers...we did a little shopping and accessorized our little girl!
Sibling fun!
All this play makes an infant tired...
Like Mommy and Daddy, Aaron is already quite the beach bum. He even humored us by keeping Daddy's hat on!

Sibling affection:) He is so gentle with her and LOVES to give her kisses...complete with the appropriate sound effect!
It seemed like all we did was eat, sleep and swim...which is about right! I am so proud of my kids. We had people at every restaurant go out of their way to stop at our table on their way out and tell us how impressed they were with Aaron's behavior...and how good of an eater he is! One night, it was 3 different tables...our hearts beamed!:) We took a break one night from going out to eat and indulged in some pizza on the couch. Aaron apparently thought it was a blast!
Emily had a hard time adjusting to the port-a-crib and Mommy got tired of getting up to tend to her when she became upset. SO, we spoiled her and Daddy made her a nest for the center of our king bed. She slept awesome for the rest of the week!
The last night of the convention is a nice dinner. We dressed the kids up and off we went...but not before getting this photo!

We're sad to say we're back in the cold and snow...but praying that it doesn't last much longer!
