Destin!

Last week, we had our biennial trip to Destin with my family! Unfortunately, this year, Steve, Brianna and Ava couldn't make it. Jess and I brought our families, though, and had a great time!

Aaron and Audrey were little fishies in the pool and couldn't have cared less about the beach 100 yards away! He evolved quickly from swimming "independently" with a ring and swimmies, to just the ring. He LOVED it! Here they are swimming to Grammie!
One day, the guys spotted this guy by the pool. After several moments of futile chasing, he landed on Jess! Soon after that, he was on Audrey!

I've been wanting to take some portraits of Emily and finally took the opportunity...

Here's sweet Daphne exploring the sand!

Aaron and Audrey shared a bunk room in our beach house. After several mornings of pre-7 am wake-ups, Josh built Aaron this fort. Aaron loved it, but it didn't help them sleep any later! Oh well! They made up for it with 3+ hour naps every day!

After the Toledo clan left, Aaron decided to "dispose" of the rest of the shredded cheese...can you hear him? "CHEEEEESE!" *One of Aaron's favorite, and probably most memorable moments of the week was when the trash truck came down the street. We ran to watch and both garbage men waved to him, smashed the trash to let him watch AND honked the horn...a little boy in heaven!

After arriving home, we picked up Duke...and he was happy:)

Now, it's time for a vacation from the vacation...off to bed:)
