Thank goodness for kids who love to play! Aside from a picnic in the park last week thanks to a break in the fall weather, it's been fun indoors for us!
Aaron loves his winter hat, regardless of the size!
Josh was working on updating the trim in our living room. Aaron does NOT like loud noises, especially those made by the air nailer. After doing a great job potty training for the day, we rewarded him with popcorn and a Handy Manny episode...which he watched with headphones on to drown out the noise of the nail gun!
Some nights, the following antics are aggravating...this particular night, Aaron's avoidance of his pajamas was goofy and hilarious as he ran crazy laps around Josh:)
I've probably mentioned this before, but Emily loves to empty the diaper bag!
Lucky day for us: Josh's cousin and his family ventured over to our side of town! Aaron's cousins are Lena, age 4 and Sam, age 2 1/2 (one month older than Aaron). So what'd we take them to do in our little town? Bowling! The kids loved it, of course! We only made it through about 7 frames in an hour, but they were 7 fun filled frames!
Aaron started out with the ramp:
...and after every push, he clapped his hands above his head to cheer on his ball!
He gave up the ramp shortly thereafter in favor of the potty shot!
Sara is a smart mommy and had markers and coloring books available to keep the kids entertained when it wasn't their turn! It was interesting to compare their artisitic sides. Sam stuck with single colors and was very thorough. Lena choice several non-conventional colors but colored specific parts before moving onto others. Aaron chose many colors and drew a variety of lines and circles on and around the characters. Surely this indicates something about their personalities!
Emily and I enjoy sharing apples...she's puts all of her body weight into it in an effort to gnaw off small pieces with her toothless mouth!
She spent several minutes perusing the JCrew catalog...that's our girl!
She REALLY loves to play peek-a-boo and one of her favorite props is the front curtain!
Organized chaos...
Emily and Duke are bonding after all of the evenings of him "helping" me put her to bed with just his presence in her room! Here, they share his rawhide:
Not much longer before the holiday rush begins...are you ready?

I can't believe how much they are both growing. Emily looks like such a big girl browsing JCrew! Aaron is such a kid now! Put bricks on their heads, will ya?! Hope to see you soon!
Stacie, your babies are adorable. That Emily is just a doll! Love seeing all the pics. Happy Thanksgiving from Virginia!!
