June Finale

Every summer, we attempt to carve out a chunk of time to visit family in Ohio.  Throughout the year we visit frequently but always with a purpose, ie: birthday parties, etc.  This time, we just came to hang out with the added bonus that Grammie is now retired and ready to play every day!

Aaron assumed the duties of pool boy during our time...
Grammie got LOTS of Macie snuggle time!
Emily will swing for hours...
Once Aaron assured us the pool was clean, it was time to swim.  Sadly, the water was VERY chilly still so the kids spent more time playing around the pool than in it!
On top of pool care and fun, the kids also enjoyed some fresh fruit!  Here Aaron shows us a cherry off the trees in the yard.  They also enjoyed freshly picked strawberries and mulberries!
Cousin Audrey and Aaron are B-U-D-S.  Big time!  Her Mommy graciously allowed her to spend the night with Aaron while we were there.  When they awoke in the morning, they grabbed the nets and hunted Grammie's ponds for frogs!

Finally, Aaron caught a big guy!  For the first of many times...  This poor frog and his buddies were probably extremely happy to see us go!  He caught each of them several times over the few days we were there!
THE cutest legs...adorably bowed!  Poor Mira cannot walk by without someone making a horse joke!  The horse she seems to ride has gotten skinnier recently as her legs are straightening out!
Grammie and Macie have a very deep conversation about, um, raspberries!
Mira enjoys the tree swing...sweet grin!
See what I mean about lots of snuggle time between these two?!
At least Grammie was able to share Macie with Mira for some sweet kisses.
Daphne also enjoyed the tree swing...this was only moments before she discovered she could flip herself over using the chains!  She's a daredevil!
Thankfully we got to spend some time with Ava and Tessa as well!  We had a great day with them at the zoo!
Back at Grammie's this is how Macie spent her time by the pool!
We had a great, great time of just hanging out and enjoying each other with nowhere to rush off to...hoping to make this an annual thing!
