Summer Fun

As expected, the month has slowed down just enough for us to relax and enjoy! From the time I put Aaron's toy shopping cart together, he insisted on climbing into it and playing. It took me a couple of days to put it together...and then I realized, why wouldn't he sit in the shopping cart? That's where he rides when we shop---how'd he make that connection immediately??
Who wouldn't want to go in and see this face in the morning?
For Aaron's birthday, Grammie bought him a really neat baby pool...at least, that's what we thought it was. After spending 2 hours with an air mattress pump, I thought to myself "how is this going to work, there are two small holes in the bottom?" So I looked at the instructions...and among the first precautions/warnings it read: Do Not Fill With Water or Baby May Slip and Fall. It turns out, it wasn't a pool, but a really elaborate play gym. Oh well, we played anyway and Aaron was much more interested in the hose and bowl!
Duke decided he needed a drink to cool off and Aaron was extremely happy to help him out!
Aaron just discovered the joy of completely emptying his toy box and/or climbing inside with it partially or completely full. What a goof!

Happy Father's Day to Daddy today! Aaron just loves to mimick his every move. The spent part of the evening "golfing" and grilling in the backyard...too cute:)
