Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving, we headed to Toledo to spend some time with everybody. My sister and I came up with the craft below for a very proud Grammie. It turned out adorable!
My mom and her husband have always welcomed Duke on our visits! With three medium/large dogs of their own (well, one is on loan from my grandma!), one more dog, even a giant breed, doesn't seem to make much of a difference! Thankfully there is plenty of house and yard, and as you see below, plenty of BEDS, to accommodate them all! Below, Duke helps himself to ALL of the beds AND the fireplace. Rough life, huh?

He decided later that 7 beds were too many and proceeded to slide himself underneath the pile to nestle on just one...goofy dog!

Being hugely pregnant at this point means that I am not allowed to travel during Christmastime. Thankfully we were able to celebrate with my brother and sister and their families while we were at my Mom's. Despite all of the transitions and changes, Christmas is still my favorite family holiday and makes me extra thankful for my family!

Aaron just LOVES hanging out with cousin Audrey. He can hardly leave the girl room to breathe because he just wants to be doing what she is doing and sitting exactly where she's sitting. Too sweet...below is a pic of him all wound up and acting silly!

It looks like the winter chill is upon us so Aaron and I headed out on a mission to get him a warm winter coat. Knowing how much he LOVES to be outside, we got a set with matching snow bib coveralls. When we got home, Aaron tried it on and didn't want to take it off! I can't wait to watch him play in the snow this winter!
