Carrying on...

Aaron's favorite thing right now is to help with anything in the kitchen. He has the perfect step stool and insists upon using it whenever I am cooking. Often I just let him play at the sink. It's too sweet. If he wants to help somewhere else, he simply climbs down and moves his stool!

Another reason I was bummed about Aaron not being able to visit me in the hospital with Emily is pictured below... I got him his own hospital scrubs embroidered with "Big Brother Aaron" and had visions of a picture with he and Daddy in their scrubs holding Emily. I had to settle for attempting to catch a picture of him in it by himself! Crazy boy! Sigh...

Here's sweet Emily in her new bouncy seat. She is such a sweet baby and is changing so much right now. She is awake more often and when she is awake she is taking it all in! Her cheeks are filling out along with the rest of her. It seems like she's always been a part of our family!

Our good (great!) friends, Kelly and Nick drove down for the day (4.5 hours each way) to come meet Emily and to let James and Aaron play together. It was way too short, but so great to see them and sweet James again! Both of them were off schedule and missed important naps...hence, the matching binkies:)
Sorry for the delay, but here are pictures of Emily's room! The theme is pink/gray with giraffes! (If you look closely at the crib picture, you'll see her little self asleep inside!

Aaron loves to help Emmie with her binky...

Josh's brother and his family came to meet Emily. Aaron just LOVES the attention he gets from his big cousins...below he mixes brownies with Grace and Olivia...

...and plays catch (successfully!) with Charlie!

Fortunately, Josh's work led him to Toledo just before my 31st birthday! We were able to spend a few days there allowing Emily to meet the rest of her aunts/uncles/cousins and for me to celebrate my birthday with everyone!

Here are Emily and Daphne (5 mos) hanging out in Grammie's bouncy seats!

And, as usual, we had a great time watching Aaron and Audrey play together! At one point, they were cooperating in placing a baby doll in an empty bouncy seat. Audrey stopped to burp the doll before placing her down and Aaron, very familiar with helping burp his new sister, assisted Audrey ever so sweetly! It was too precious!

We were so happy to meet Miss Emily and loved hanging out with Aaron, too. We can't wait to see you again soon!

BTW, Audrey was looking at the pictures and was naming the people in the name. As we came to the picture of Aaron and James, she said, "Aaron...two Aarons!" HA!
