Warm days mean Grandma and Grandpa's pool is open! After spending some quality time swimming with his cousins Grace and Olivia, Aaron spent some time jumping in to Daddy, like a such a big boy!
Well, finally I prepared a bottle for Emily...yep, her first! She took it like an old pro and even let her brother help feed her, all the while watching me as if to say "mom, are you sure they're supposed to be giving me this?!"
...And the next day, we tried cereal! She was very eager and happily excited...
...but that excitement quickly turned to this:
We're still working on getting her to swallow any of it! Fortunately, there's no rush!
Thanks to Aunt Jess, Aaron has a super cool sprinkler! What fun!
Here's another talent to add to his "big boy" status: we no longer have to cut the corn off the cob for him! He LOVED eating it like this!
Cousin Ava was baptized the first weekend in June which meant another trip to Toledo! This time, Grammie had gardening kits for Audrey and Aaron and even had some flowers for them to help her plant! Such fun!
Grammie's house was full of interesting things! Their pool cover (still on the pool) was teeming with hundreds (honestly, perhaps thousands) of tadpoles and frogs at varying stages of development! On top of that, they had a random pigeon that decided they were nice and has been hanging around their back deck ever since...it very obviously belongs to someone but they are having trouble finding out who! AND, the mulberry tree had lots of yummy berries to eat! This particular berry was (so I thought) intended to be shared with me, but as he got close, he popped it into his mouth! Little goofball!
Our summer is off to a great start and it hasn't officially begun yet!
