As you probably noticed in previous posts, Aaron has been due for a haircut...being a woman who only cuts her hair a few times a year, I forget that his needs to be cut more often! We finally got pictures of him getting his haircut...this is at least his 5th time! He does SO well...holds still, lets her use the scissors, clippers AND the blowdryer!
The beginning of August led us back to the same place we were a year ago...downtown Indy for another triathlon! This time, Josh was signed up to do the full olympic triathlon and he did great! Here is Aaron playing with his cousins somewhere along the bike course! They were there cheering on their dad, Josh's brother Jim, who was competing as well! No, that's not a typo in the title of this post...the announcer at the race called out Jim "Arahood" and Josh "Arahood" when they finished...ha, that's a new one!
Jim, finishing the run:
This triathlon is really neat. The swim takes place in a man-made canal that cuts through the city and we, as spectators, are able to walk alongside the athletes the whole way! Here are Aaron and Emily "cheering" Daddy on;) (someday):

Once again, we are SO proud! Go Daddy!
Recently, when Emily wakes up from her naps/bedtime, I find her like this:

...pulling down her bumper to watch for me to come get her!
Sometimes I take a double glance when I notice a swingset in my backyard...then I realize, holy cow, I have enough kids to fill the swings! Life is good:)
Emily will army crawl EVERYWHERE, but prefers to head in the direction of Aaron's toys...particularly the ones he's playing with...he was napping when I caught her playing with one of "his" toys...when the cats away...
the mouse will play...
Stay tuned...we're doing all we can to prolong summer:)

Way to go Josh! That is just such a cool accomplishment! Glad the kiddos are well. Missing you all...still!
By the way, your son has had at least 5 more haircuts than his older cousin! :)
