Happy Easter!

Lots of pictures follow, so let's begin! We prepped ourselves for the Easter bunny's arrival.

First, we gathered our baskets:

Then, we worked on eggs...and Aaron did a GREAT job! This is his current "cheese" face...you'll see it a few more times by the end of this post!

Then, we set out a snack for E.B...with a little "cheese" on the side!

Shortly thereafter, the kids were asleep and these baskets appeared, full, outside their doors!

When the search commenced the next morning, Aaron found their "big" gift immediately! They are both excited to see what it was...

It's a super cool bath toy that works like a faucet so we don't have to run water during our baths for fun!

Here I am helping them find a couple sneaky eggs!

After all the eggs were found and the loot was explored, we got ready to head to Grandma and Grandpa Orahood's for brunch with the Easter bunny at the club. Here's Emily in her sweet Easter attire:

Then we dined...and yes, she seriously wore these like they were totally appropriate!

And now, I regret that we didn't have the video camera while the following sequence occurred. After we ate, we walked by the Easter bunny on our way out and Emily paid him another visit. Oh, I wish you could have heard and seen her excitement!

Once we were able to pull Emily away from the bunny, we were off to Grandma and Grandpa's for a soggy egg hunt. Aaron came prepared with his new firefighter galoshes!
