Introducing Great View's Bailey Boo Guacamole!

...but first, an adorable picture of our girl:)

And now, the puppy (9 1/2 weeks old, 23.6lbs):

Our house just wasn't feeling right after losing sweet Duke, so we hit the road on a mission to find our next furry family member. We still miss Duke, even despite the distraction a new puppy brings! We decided early on that we wanted another great dane, but not one with the fawn markings because it would be too much like Duke. We decided we wanted a blue great dane and after a stop in southern Illinois, we headed to Missouri and adopted this beauty an hour west of St. Louis. The kids were ANGELS in the car for what turned out to be quite the road trip. Bailey was also really great in the car, thanks to her crate and her sweet disposition!

The morning after we brought her home, we put her to work as Aaron's alarm clock:

Raising a puppy is not unlike raising babies! She sleeps a lot and plays a lot...the big difference are those awful needle puppy teeth! She is getting better about not using them. She is a great sleeper---naps for 3 hours in the afternoons and all night long! She was housebroken quickly, however did decide that if she was going to do a #2 in the house, it would have to be in Aaron's room and did so for 3 consecutive days.

This bed is going to look super silly in a couple of months!

She LOVES being in the backyard and likes to feel like she's helping out:

Daddy's best helper:

Cheesy girl:

I had to sneak this one in too...Aaron is using his power wheels harley to tow Emily in the wagon and they were both perfectly content!

Back to Bailey...

She is super snuggly...with chairs...

...or wherever else she can tuck herself!

She's certainly a pretty girl and we're happy to have her!

And one last shot of sweet Emily...she put this playdough art together and then handed it to me saying "Happy Birthday!" Evidently, it was a cake! Silly nugget...

Welcome to the family, Bailey! She is so darn cute. I would expect no less from your children! Speaking of, they are getting so big and even cuter! Missing you all!
