It wouldn't be October without a trip to the pumpkin patch! Life has been crazy in our house for a lot of reasons and one day at the grocery store, I cracked and bought our pumpkins...I just couldn't resist the price! BUT, I knew we still had to get those adorable pictures in the pumpkin patch so we headed over to the local farm and got some cute shots of our little pumpkins! We decided to have brunch and then run an errand first and, of course, the weather was gorgeous but by the time we got to the farm, it was overcast, cold and windy! Oh well, such is fall!

Look who we found in the pumpkin patch! Grammie! Just kidding...she came with us. She was visiting for a couple of days!
While here, Grammie wanted to make these treats with the kids. I basically sat in the corner shuddering at the mess that was happening but the kids loved it and it was worth the cleanup that followed!
Before Grammie left...
Can you tell Emily was not happy she was leaving? She just kept saying she wants Grammie to live with us. Grammie told her one of the reasons she had to go home was that "Grampie" loved her and needed her there. So Emily's response? She said that she wants "Grampie" to stop loving Grammie so that she can come live with us. That girl is something else sometimes! She had such a hard time watching her go and about ripped Grammie's heart out in the process!
