Our weekend festivities started Saturday night when Josh's brother and his family came to hang out and spend the night! We had a great time just hanging out and are so grateful to have them living nearby! I also LOVED getting to color Easter eggs with the girls, Grace and Olivia...much better than doing it by myself! I wish I had taken pictures!
Sunday we met at Josh's parents house where Aaron "searched" for his Easter basket (translation: Mommy carried him and placed him next to it because he still hadn't warmed up to the family crowd!).
After "finding" his basket, the whole family trekked across the golf course to brunch. Despite the slight chill, it was the perfect day for a walk...especially for a tasty meal!
Here's Aaron after we ate...he wanted to carry the high chair tray around...

...but eventually ditched it in return for some running speed!
Is there a gene for egg hunting? Somehow, Aaron knew that he was supposed to carry the basket...and after putting one egg in for him, he quickly followed suit!
It was a little more difficult to get him to put the real eggs into the basket (see him weighing his options in the picture below?)...so Mommy carried the basket and Aaron, the egg!
Check back soon... :)

What fun! Aaron looks so handsome in that outfit. What a big boy!
Oh my goodness! Stace, that second photo is uh-dorable. Also, if there's a gene for egg-hunting, my boys do NOT have it. Elliott found one, and he was like, "what do you want from me? I found it. I'm done!"
Looks like you all had a wonderful celebration with good weather! So glad! Hugs!
