"May Days" Part 4 of 4

This past weekend, my brother married a sweet girl, his perfect match and we're excited to welcome Brianna into our family! The wedding was sweet and the day was beautiful...and being in a family wedding with a toddler was...exhausting! Aaron hung in with us through it all, but as you can see above, he,too,was exhausted! Special thanks to super daddy for all of his daddy-ing! Thanks to him, Aaron was fed, changed and napped all according to schedule:)

Check out his little dude suit! He was working it all day and night!

Here are Aaron and Audrey taking over the dance floor. She was a beautiful flower girl and did such a great job walking down the aisle during the wedding! She has gotten so much better at tolerating Aaron's long, slightly aggressive, and extremely frequent hugs.

Does anyone else remember the day when the single guys would actually fight over catching the garter at the wedding reception? At our reception, my cousin only caught the garter because it bounced off of his chest and no one else was even close enough to pass it off! As you will see, the same was true of Steve & Bri's reception. Following Brianna's brother-in-law and nephew's cue, Josh and Aaron hit the floor to test their "luck" at catching the garter.

As the garter flies...the sea parts with hands in pockets and the obligatory arm reach from far, far away...the toddlers are hanging in...

And the garter goes to...Brayden! (~14 1/2 mos)...

Wait a minute...something shiny across the room...boys, the garter is free again!

And the garter goes to...Aaron...will his attention span last?

Yes! Alright boys, you're off the hook!

We had a great time and after finishing off the weekend with some low key family time, we're all starting to recover! Thanks to Steve & Bri for letting us be a part of it all...we had a great time!
