Here's the latest and greatest from the Orahood household...including Christmas! But first, Miss Emily continues to test her leg strength whether she's pulling up to whatever is closest, taking steps, or climbing...which followed this picture. I just had to photo-document those adorable legs!
Her favorite activity currently involves emptying drawers and cabinets in her room. I could do without putting clothes back into drawers multiple times per day, but it is adorable to see her drag all of her books out and then sit and read them...pointing at the pages just like Mommy does!
We have had LOTS of snow this month! Luckily, Aaron is adequately outfitted to help Daddy shovel.
Daddy and Aaron took a snowy afternoon out and hit the stores shopping for Christmas. They came home with lots of surprises, but also, this tree! What other two year old has a real Christmas tree in their room...that's as big as he is?!
I have three adorable nieces on my side of the family and decided to get crafty for part of their Christmas gifts. These are bow holders, specifically designed to coordinate with their rooms! I have to finish Emily's still so the picture will follow!
Santa visited our house a few days early! His note explained that he knew we'd be out of town on Christmas morning but wanted us to have a special morning just for us! Emily sort of opened a couple of presents...including her new ball!
And here it is, folks...the coveted fire truck and it's happy owner!
Yep, more snow...this day, Daddy and Aaron built a "noesman" (snowman) and a small sledding hill in the front yard. On their shopping adventure, they also picked up a couple of sleds!
I couldn't resist this photo opp...I got Emily mostly dressed for our Christmas with Josh's family. It's so hard for her to crawl in the dress...so we left it off for a little bit. She loved it! (and looked adorable!)
Here's Aaron with his first candy cane...at Grammie's house on Christmas morning!
Here's Emmie giving Duke some Christmas lovin'.
Ava was still with her Mommy's family when this picture happened, but here are the cousins on their new bean bags!
Daph is a daredevil! While the rest of us were watching someone open a gift, she decided to get a better view! Silly girl!
Here are Aaron and Audrey playing with his new tool bench set...he LOVES it!
Duke got some more Christmas lovin' from Jess too!
We weren't great about getting lots of pictures during all of the festivities but know that the present opening was SO exciting for Aaron and he and Emily both got way more generous gifts than our little house can hold! Off to organize!
