Santa Claus Came to town...

...and had breakfast! Like last year, we attended breakfast with Santa at Josh's parents' country club. We had been prepping Aaron hoping to avoid a tearful picture like last year. We kept asking him what he was going to tell Santa he wanted for Christmas...the answer has been consistent for more than the last month: a fire truck. Sure enough, the second he was in Santa's lap, he said "I want fire truck." Sweet guy! Santa asked him what color and he said orange! Hmm...
Holidays mean a chance to doll up the kiddos! Here's Emily in her holiday best!

And here are my handsome guys:

Here's Aaron letting Santa know exactly what he wants. We were SO proud of him, acting like such a big boy and not being scared!

Thank goodness Mrs. Claus comes along too...though Miss Emily needs to learn some manners, especially around Santa and his wife! Each time Mrs. Claus would hand her a bear, Emily would whip it behind her onto the floor! Oh dear.

And this year's "Santa's Lap" picture:

Emily preferred to be on the move after breakfast...taking turns walking Mommy and Grandpa around!

Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived by carriage...here they are leaving with a sweet little boy sending them on their way:

Santa and Mrs. Claus were kind enough to let the rest of us have a ride!
Is that a horse, or a reindeer? He was HUGE, keep in mind Josh is over 6'5" and the horse is dwarfing him! He had the softest nose and was SUPER sweet...his name was Reese --I'm not sure how he spelled it, but it's a name dear to our hearts!

We're keeping our fingers crossed that we made Santa's nice list...

WOW! That looked awesome. So bummed it didn't work out to tag along. Aaron was so brave. Audrey keeps assuring me that she won't be afraid this year, but thinks maybe Daph will be. Good thing Audrey will be there for her ;) Emily was stunning, as always. Love the headband!
