Stunts and Babbles

Well, we keep getting little teases of spring but they don't last long so we are continuing to entertain ourselves inside where the weather is more predictable!:) Here's Aaron wearing my boots:

Emily has decided that her little toy "box" is perfect for holding toys AND her! This is a regular sight:

She also LOVES to play in the laundry basket, but unlike her brother (at her age and younger), she does not get into it on her own. Instead, she drags it over to me saying "alp" the whole time...yep, "help." She's 14 months and already has quite the list of consistent and fairly recognizable words including: "dada," "mama," "crak ker," "ni-ni (night night)," "bye-bye," "babee," "bay (bear)," "all duh (all done),"up," "sheeze (cheese),"dis (this)," "mmkk (with a grunt = milk)," "duh (dog)," "guk (duke)." She is very happy to repeat ANYthing you say and it usually comes out really close! After she says it, she nods her head...it's adorable!

Here she is, in the laundry basket, with a new favorite accessory...her bathing suit hung around her neck. Not sure why she likes it but she gets it out and asks for help putting it on regularly!

Per Aaron, he was building a "gate." Uncle Geek, he's related!

Bathing beauty:

Aaron got up from his nap yesterday and proudly showed me his feet...he had put his mittens on his feet during his naptime! It was hilarious but he didn't want me to take a picture so this was the best I could get!

Busy body means busy mommy:

Aaron has taken a renewed interest in doing puzzles...thanks to Aunt Jess for this set! He does all four on his own now!

I do believe this is Emily's first experience with spaghetti! She's had ravioli but I had to capture the classic "toddler eating spaghetti" shots! Yum!
