We've been anxiously awaiting my college roommate Colette's visit back to the states from her current home country of Ireland! She made the flight with 2 kids...a 2 year old and a 7 month old...brave woman, so the least we could do was drive up to her parents' house near Cleveland! Here's Emily with Orianna. Poor Orianna took a sippy cup to the forehead at one point but otherwise was content to watch the chaos!
Kelly met us there with her two boys James and Sam (for those of you keeping track, that makes 7 kids under the age of 3...Colette was also watching her teeny little niece for the day!). Here are Aaron and James playing together:
What was once a picture of the four college roommates on a couch, is now a picture of all offspring of whatever roommates are present (missed you and the boys Whitney!). The best part about this picture is what is going on behind and next to the camera...all the mommies were singing "Wheels on the Bus" as goofy as possible to get them to look and hopefully smile...well, one out of two isn't bad!

The big boys saying goodbye to James...Aaron and James:
...and Ronan giving James a goodbye kiss on the cheek! He's European;)

Me and Colette...with the girls!
Back at home, I bought some vinyl Easter clings for the kids to put on our sliding doors. Emily was quite helpful!
...and then quite pleased with the results!
Here's a happy girl playing outside in the sandbox during the gorgeous spring weather preview!
It was like Christmas again when we got the sand toys out!
I was scrubbing down Emily's high chair today and walked away without putting on the tray. When I came back, this is what I found:
She climbed in all by herself! With her milk cup! I took her down and asked her to do it again...she quit halfway up but I was impressed with her strength and technique!
We had a nasty bout of the sickies around our house. So far, Emily appears to have fared the best, but here she is falling asleep after a very short car ride...sweet pouty lip!
The short trip was to the local sporting goods store to prepare Aaron for soccer! We're all excited!

I don't know if I'm happy or sad I didn't add to the madness, making it NINE kids. Holy moly!!! I did miss you guys, though! Thanks for documenting!
