Joseph

Aaron has been singing tidbits of Christmas songs, mainly Jingle Bells and We Wish You a Merry Christmas at home for weeks so we knew a little of what to expect at his preschool Christmas show. We were caught WAY off guard after we dropped him off at his classroom, entered the sanctuary and opened our programs. There at the top, we see Aaron Orahood.......Joseph. He and a classmate were Joseph and Mary and the other kids in his class were listed under 'Host of Angels.'

As the show began and progressed, the lightbulb went off...aha! Aaron is Joseph because it doesn't matter that he is not singing...or dancing. And neither is Mary. They just had to stand there and look adorable! Brilliant plan by his teacher!
Well, he moved, a little once they gave him bells for Jingle Bells!
Sweet boy!
Daddy and sweet Emily who was very into watching the performance!
I had to try...
We spoke with his teachers briefly after the performance. It turns out that Aaron was not given the role of Joseph because of his inevitable stage fright. She said they gave him, and the little girl, their roles because she knew they would cooperate and stand where they were told! She feared many of the other children would run off! So that was nice to hear...she knew she could count on him and she was right! Way to go Aaron...we loved seeing you up there!
