The kids got a wonderful surprise from their grandparents for Easter...this new truck! It was so fun watching them on it. Aaron took to driving it like it was nothing new...even in reverse and in the high gear! It was made for kids like him because the truck bed can dump! Emily will drive it but doesn't quite get the hang of steering or smooth acceleration and would rather sit and press the pretend buttons. She's very content as a passenger. Before Aaron can take off, he has to ask "Are you ready, Emily?" To which she replies "ready!" It's so fun! They decided to use their truck during their egg hunt so they loaded their egg buckets in the trunk and headed off!

After all the eggs and goodies were found and their bellies were stuffed, they found their way to the piano for some music time.:) I believe we are entering the long phase of really having to negotiate for a little boy's smile...sigh...
