Life on pause...that about sums it up. No, it doesn't mean we are engaging in a laidback summer attitude...quite the opposite! We are right in the heat of moving things from our current home to our new home...all while Josh continues to work on the updates necessary for us to live there comfortably! We are on pause from life...and it kinda stinks since this summer has been so beautiful! Don't get me wrong, the kids have been enjoying playing outside and have made it up to their grandparents on quite a few occasions to swim. We just aren't invested in our community this summer...we are eager to get into the new house and new community and partake in all of the fun amenities it offers! For now, here are the few photos I've taken since last post!
Emily really enjoys blowing bubbles...it takes a good amount of effort and isn't always successful but fun (and messy) all the same!
I found her this morning reading to her dog...after she had wrapped him up in her blanket. Too sweet:)

The hot tub or "pool" as the kids call it has been another source of fun for them! Josh keeps the temperature low, but comfortable, and we let the kids swim in it! By the way...if you have toddlers, you MUST invest in the pud.dle jump.ers swim vest. Emily is nearly independent in the water with hers...she even jumps into her grandparents pool from the ladder without anyone catching her! They are great!
Last night I went to tuck Aaron in...I have to say, when I saw him sitting like this it creeped me out at first! It looked like he was just sitting there watching me until I realized he was asleep! Sweet guy...of course, no clue it had happened!
Hopefully there will be more exciting things to post soon...at the least, there may be pics of us in the new house! The kids rooms are painted, the floors have their first coat of stain on them and Josh is beginning to assemble the kitchen cabinets. The end is drawing near...I hope!
