As the kids get a little older, each Christmas gets more magical and fun! This year we had a couple of fun outings planned. The first, going to see The Nutcracker, has to be postponed to next year because of Macie's birth! BUT, a week after she was born, we had tickets to go on the Polar Be.ar Ex.press Train out of a local train museum/station. We were looking forward to it. I was nervous because I was just one week post c-section...but we are glad we went!
The best part of the whole ride was when our car attendant announced that the only things he could find in the snack car to eat were cookies and hot chocolate...Emily literally squealed and giggled with excitement! They also received a goodie bag with some candy canes in it.
Aaron also enjoyed the cookie...
Look who was on our train...though rumor has it, he didn't have a ticket;)
