Well, if you are wishing for more snow wherever you are, just do not buy your kids new snowsuits. Last year I had them all ready with new snow pants, boots, gloves, hats, handmade scarves...and we got only a dusting or two. SO, this year I vowed not to invest in more snow gear...and we've had well over 12 inches of snow between 2-3 "storms" the first and biggest coming they day after Christmas. They officially called it a blizzard and it prevented me from making it to see Macie (her neonatologist requested that we let them babysit for the day when he made his daily call, saying that the roads were really bad)...a rough day for me but we made the most of our time snowed in. The kids played with their new toys and Josh got more rest.
A few days later, the kids and Daddy went outside to play. They got new sleds from their grandparents for Christmas and were eager to try them out!

We don't have an adequate hill for sledding in our yard so Josh made one by redistributing the snow! The kids loved it!
This snow has been just beautiful. This is our first winter in our new house and we've enjoyed the winter wonderland out our windows!
