Picture overload ahead!
Finally the rains moved on and the weather made a slow climb back to acceptable beach temperatures! Macie and I stayed warm around the pool deck while the big kids swam!
After dinner that evening, we bundled up and grabbed some toys...we were ready to see the beach! We didn't stay on it long because it was also very windy and we were getting pelted with sand!
The next morning looked more promising. This was the view toward the ocean from our condo. If you look in the center toward the ocean, you will see the red flag! Swimming in the ocean was not looking promising!
Breakfast on the balcony...
The beach was much warmer and the kids loved playing in the sand!
Getting settled in...the set of steps to the right was a private entrance reserved for our condo complex. It had a key code that you had to enter for the gate and it also had a very nice men's and ladies' restroom that required the code as well. There was an electric extended golf cart that transported us though we also walked the block and a half frequently!
Happy kids!
Happy Macie...she did NOT like being put on the sand, but was super happy to be under the umbrella in a beach chair! It probably actually made it easier to have a little one her age at the beach!
She is our snuggly baby...look how she tucks that right hand around my arm! She still does that!
That is a lot of Orahood toes!
Feet!
See?! Happy in her chair under the umbrella! Safe away from the sand!
Aaron and Daddy went out on the sand bar in search of fish...
We did put her feet in the sand...here's the proof!
Happy dude...
Beach babies! Macie had a brave face...
...but this is how she really felt!
We had a great trip and really enjoyed the area in which we stayed! It was very refreshing to get away and relax!
