It has been a couple of years since we signed Aaron up for soccer. This year, I decided to sign Emily up on the same team hoping he'd be more confident if she was there too.
Here they are meeting their team and coach. Emily was definitely the youngest and smallest and got all kinds of parent fans due to her stature and the smile she always wore!
Looks like the time off did Aaron some good...he was a totally different kid on the field than a couple years ago! He went for the ball and did very well with it!
This is where Emily preferred to be...cheering from the sidelines in her chair! She sort of became the honorary break-taker!
Josh was recruited to help coach during one of their games! They always split the teams between two fields for 3v3.
And their most loyal fan...as long as there were snacks!
And they got trophies!
They had a great time and we always had beautiful weather! Aaron will be playing again in the fall, but Emily has decided to sit that season out.
