He's here! Welcome J. Aaron Orahood, II to the world! After almost 19 hours of labor, Aaron arrived at 4:49am on Monday April 28, 2008! He measured 20.5 inches and 7lbs 14oz...our perfect baby boy:) He is sweet and so amazing...we are so blessed, elated and overflowing with love to have him here. I look at him almost hourly and continue to wonder how in the world this perfect being grew inside of me...especially trying to imagine how he fit! Having him is truly life's greatest miracle and God's greatest blessing!

It's still daylight...why would my eyes be open?
Even though we (and by we, I mean he) currently have our days and nights mixed up, we are all learning how to live as a family...learning what Aaron's needs are and anticipating them whenever possible! You'd think after being peed on more than 6 times between the two of us, we'd have learned that lesson...but we're stubborn in our efforts to get the diaper there first! Thanks Grammie for the peepee teepees!
Aaron's an amazingly sweet soul who loves to eat, sleep and best of all, snuggle. More pictures and stories to follow...

What a handsome little man! I can't believe he's finally here. Thank you again for inviting me to meet him! He has the most adorable ears and fingers and legs and eyes and everything! I'm excited to see him again :) Congratulations to your family...I hope you are all getting the rest you need. I know you and Josh will be amazing parents and I am so happy for you both! Hooray for J. Aaron Orahood II! (That sounds quite presidential, by the way!)
