Aaron has really taken to his new school. Each day when we pick him up he is extremely excited and always says "that was a really fast day!" Here he is completing some homework...yep, already!
Here's Emily ready for her bring-a-friend day in her ballet class!
With friend Claire who happened to be in town at the perfect time!
We have found that Bailey has fairly sensitive skin--the blue coat, perhaps? She developed some sort of dermatitis between her toes and was exacerbating it severely by chewing on them...I sent her and Josh to the vet and they came back with this! Can you imagine a 100+lb dog trying to get around the house with this on?! It was pathetic and hilarious all at the same time!
Aaron earned a reward for improved preschool dropoff after 5 consecutive days of no tears! He has adjusted well and was rewarded with a pair of racing R/C cars! Here he practices while Daddy is at work, but eagerly awaiting a race against Daddy.
Emily decided to watch Aaron with his car...
She has her bag of goodies that she has been carrying around for the past couple of days...in the bag are several princess crowns and wands, her Pink.a.licious cupcake set, sidewalk chalk, Minnie ears and a few other miscellaneous things! She can barely carry the bag but has not separated from it in the last couple of days!
We made a road on the driveway with sidewalk chalk but it proved to be too difficult for a novice R/C driver so I allowed Aaron to bring out one of his dump trucks to speed along it!
All better quickly thanks to the medicine accompanying her lampshade collar...
Emily and I decided to "upgrade" her ballet attire with a sweet tutu ballet dress (photo by Aaron). "We" figured this will probably be the only year of dance that she can wear anything she wants...starting at 3, they have a specified dress code!
Thanks to the $1 bins at our favorite store, we picked up a couple of fun crafts for the kids. Here, they paint fall icons: a pumpkin for Aaron and an ear of corn for Emily!
Aaron anxiously awaited Josh's return home from work so they could race their cars! He gave Daddy the one with the weaker batteries;)
