On December 7, 2012, Macie was born at 33 weeks + 2 days. It was a surprise that she was so premature, but we were SO blessed that she was healthy and just needed more time to grow. She came home with us on December 31, 2012...24 days in the NICU!
...now, a year later, we are celebrating!
Macie's birthday weekend started with my brother and his family coming to visit! The girls had so much fun together...look how excited Macie was that Tessa was crawling over to play!
Same cheesy two-toothed grin! Tessa was born, full term, 10 days before Macie so we are looking forward to their future friendship!
Emily and Ava are about 6 weeks apart in age. Their friendship is growing so much right now. It is so much fun to watch!
And here's the birthday girl...we were attempting to wear the boots, but obviously that didn't last long!

Happy birthday to our sweet Macie Leigh. You came into this world at your own time, but have been a complete blessing and joy every minute. Our family is even better now that you're here! We love you!
