One of the Christmas gifts we gave to our parents this year were these candy jars with each of the kids' handprints on them. We also bought m and m candies with the kids pictures on them to fill the jars!
On Christmas Eve, we headed up to Toledo to spend the holiday with my family. My sister's family was not going to be at my mom's on Christmas day so they were there on Christmas eve when we arrived. The kids got to decorate cookies together which they loved!
On Christmas morning, the kids had to wait for my brother's family to arrive...not an easy feat for a 5 year old and a 3 year old when there is a tree full of presents but they were so good about it! When my brother's family did arrive, Emily and Ava decided they needed to accessorize prior to opening gifts!

Here are Emily and Ava mid-way through gifts...their latest obsession with the newest Disn.e.y movie ruled Christmas!
I didn't take many pictures during Christmas because my mom's camera was snapping away! After the day was done, however, there were more gifts from my Grandparents. We weren't able to make it up for the extended family Christmas, but Steve brought our gifts to my mom's. The kids loved their toys and clothes!
