Well, December 1st means something exciting in our house these years...or rather someONE exciting. That's right, Chyspy our elf returns to watch over our daily shenanigans and report back to the big guy each night.
He returned with a note to remind the kids who he is and what the rules are about not touching him. Later that day, Aaron's grandparents, Aunt Jennifer and Great Grandma Dorothy stopped by to visit. As we were taking some pictures by the fireplace, the note hanging from Chyspy got bumped and he tumbled to the ground. Not knowing better, Grandma picked him up and put him on the cabinet. Aaron, sweet little guy, instantly teared up because he knows the elf loses his magic if he is touched! Thankfully, Chyspy's magic was intact the next day thanks to some grace by Santa and Aaron's helicopter that got Chyspy back to the North Pole in his weakened condition!
So, it's December and the elf is back...better decorate the tree! The kids were a HUGE help this year and with a stool were able to get the tree evenly decorated! Macie was extremely helpful at pulling the wooden berry garland off frequently!
Some sweet sister playtime...Emily really loves Macie but is not always as gentle and mindful as she needs to be!
Macie LOVES the playroom...especially when she has it all to herself! I think she plays with the kitchen set more than anyone else!
Bailey was apparently cold this evening...she had tucked herself into a tighter ball than usual and even stuffed her face behind her back leg...ha! Funny dog!
